Project Assistant
HUB Office Furniture INC. is a fast growing, fast-paced, design oriented commercial furniture company looking for a high performing Project Assistant. As Project Assistant you are responsible for a range of activities aimed at ensuring furniture sales orders are fulfilled to meet (and exceed) client expectations. You will work alongside our internal team, contractors, vendor partners, customer service representatives, and, of course, the client throughout the project cycle.
This is a full-time position at 37.5 hours/week.
Responsibilities include:
· Assist with all projects from initial client meetings, furniture order specification and pricing to presentations and quotes.
· Work directly with clients on space planning, design, and finishes.
· Develop product specifications, double-check specifications against plans, prepare specification order-entry utilizing electronic specification program.
· Understand the project scope, manufacturers, and products that will best support the client’s vision and needs.
· Alongside the team, serve as a point-of-contact for dealer activities, services, and orders
· Use a people-first approach around client relations and act as the liaison with manufacturers.
· Support the organization & maintenance of the HUB Sample Library.
· Support business growth and development by staying on top of project opportunities within our market.
· General administration assistance.

You have must have a driver’s license and access to a vehicle and:
· Excellent time management skills! You have a strong sense of workflow, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and attention to detail.
· Excellent customer service! You are a champion of communication, organization, and can anticipate the client’s needs.
· Excellence under pressure! You love deadlines and manage your time accordingly.
· Excellent intuition and creativity! You have a knack for reading between the lines and thinking differently when it comes to customer service.
We also need you to have experience with:
· CAD, CET, Revit, or other design or specification program knowledge
· Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
· Furniture industry or design; or a strong interest in both
